I am very delighted to announce that  The Hon. David Kilgour has joined the Canadian International Peace Project as a Governor and Advisor.  He has had a distinguished career in public service and community service. He has also been a well know International Ambassador for Canada and has taken a leadership role on many international issues. The Canadian International Peace Project is indeed fortunate to have his commitment, experience, expertise on local and international issues.

The Canadian International Peace Project (CIPP) is a novel and unique non-partisan organisation that has brought together diverse groups and individuals to work on issues and projects relating to local, national and international peace, security and development . Through partnership on events and projects, the CIPP fosters mutual respect and sustainable relationships among diverse groups including those in conflict with each other. The CIPP has also taken a leadership role in Canada on middle east issues and fostering credible relationships between Muslim and Jewish organisations and individuals. Our prominent group of Governors/Advisors include both the National Presidents of the Canadian Jewish Congress and the Canadian Arab Federation, Professor Ed Morgan and Omar Alghabra as well as The Hon. Lloyd Axworthy, President of the University of Winnipeg and former  Minister of Foreign Affairs.
