The outbreak of cholera in Zimbabwe has killed more than 500 people. More than 12 000 people are believed to be infected.

Due to the corruption, criminality, incompetence, mismanagement of the Mugabe's bloodthirsty regime the water purification and sewage system is not anymore working. Hygiene is a history in Zimbabwe. With no food people are forced to eat anything available irrespective of cleanness and quality.

The United Nations and Aid groups reports that hundreds of thousands of people are immediately at risk.

Cholera and starvation in Zimbabwe is a deliberate design of the Mugabe's Zanu pf government. Its spoken goal is to kill 6 million people who do not support the liberation struggle or Zanu pf rule.

Didymus Mutasa (Mugabe's Zanu pf Secretary) said, "We would be better off with only six million people, with our own people who support the liberation struggle. We don't want all these extra people".

The solution to Zimbabwe's problems is the removal of Mugabe. With Zanu pf in power thousands of Zimbabweans will continue to die.
US Secretary of States, Condole Rice states, "If this is not evidence to the international community that it's time to stand up for what's right ...It's well past time for Robert Mugabe to leave"


South African Archbishop Desmond Tutu has called Africans to remove Mugabe by force. Neighboring countries such as Botswana are vocal against Mugabe. It appears as if the only government that will stand with Mugabe is the ANC in South Africa. Many people believe that the ANC sympathies with liberation movements rather than new governments such as the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) elected by the popular vote.

It's bizarre and ironic that at this point in time South Africa still talks of former president Mbeki's idea of unity government. The ANC has refused the MDC's (Zimbabwe opposition) request to replace Mbeki as mediator. Mbeki has been rejected by the South Africans at Polokwane elections. And was also rejected by the ANC as president of South Africa and was forced to resign.

Therefore Mbeki cannot be a mediator in Zimbabwe for the same reason he was rejected by South Africans. The insistence by the ANC that Mbeki continue to handle the Zimbabwean crisis cast doubts on the ANC sincerity to remove Mugabe. The ANC and Mbeki share the same views of Mugabe as a liberator and better friend than the new MDC government in Zimbabwe.

To continue talking and insisting that the MDC work with Mugabe in unity government is pervasion and selfishness of politicians. Mugabe must be forced to leave power to save lives of Zimbabweans. The issue here is about toppling Mugabe's Zanu pf regime.

Will you not consider practically supporting the people of Zimbabwe to remove this dictatorship? Will you not put pressure on your leaders to aid Zimbabwean activists? Will you not donate to aid organisations or Churches working in Zimbabwe?
